Litter is ugly

We all get that. What we often overlook is the physical impact litter has on our environmental and personal health. Litter left uncollected leaches toxic chemicals into the soil, water, and air as products begin to degrade. In some environments, this litter contributes to deadly wildfires. In the U.S. alone, it contributes to over 25,000 traffic accidents every year.

In 2018, a small group in Ogden, Utah began meeting a few times a month. Since then, they have collected thousands of bags of litter and contributed thousands of volunteer hours.

Now, Pliking is joining the CleanUp movement to take this idea to a national audience!
